Not long now until Remembrance Day and you may have noticed, if you are a user of Twitter, that many profile photos contain a red poppy.  So how does it get there?  The answer is Twibbon.  All you need to do is login with your Twitter or Facebook details, allow the application to connect to your account and choose the campaign you wish to support.  Once you’ve found an appropriate campaign, select support this.  You’ll then be taken to a new page where you will see your avatar with the “Twibbon” overlaid.  If you’re not happy with the position of the Twibbon then simply click and drag to where you would like it placed.  Once you’re happy select Show my support now! and there you go, you’ve overlaid your profile photo with a Twibbon.

To remove the Twibbon log on to Twibbon, select My Profile (top left corner), History tab, under ‘Avatar History’ locate the photo without the Avatar, simply select ‘Revert’ and ‘Make this my profile image’.
